Here's how it works: Guests gather with each bringing a little food of some kind, and we share a meal, usually between 6 & 7PM, unless otherwise noted. Then, an opening act performs from 7-7:45PM, after which the featured artist or artists perform for approximately 2 hours with one break in the middle. The meal provides an opportunity for the guests to meet and visit, and the performance offers a wonderful intimacy (up close and personal) between guest and artist.

Suggested donations vary slightly depending on the artist (usually between $10 and $15 with reservation, with a couple of dollars added for at the gate payment). 100% of your donation goes to the performers.

Our concerts are intended to be outside. We have a totally shaded yard and deck and room for quite a few people (1/3 acre). Although we will someday have chairs for all our guests (we do have some), we ask that you bring a folding chair of some kind just to be comfortable. If it rains we will improvise. We provide ice and cups, and perhaps some coffee.

Reservations are strongly suggested  If a show fills up, and performer schedules permit, we will add a Sunday performance.  Click here to make your Reservation. You need to make a reservation to guarantee space and avoid the extra at-the-gate charge. It helps us tremendously to know about how many folks will be coming, so please reserve your space early!

No drugs are allowed on our property. Bring your own alcohol, and feel free to enjoy. Over imbibing is frowned on immensely. Since a house concert is intended to be an intimate setting for folks to enjoy our guest performers' music, anything that might take away from others enjoyment (loud conversation, rowdy behavior) is discouraged during performances.
